Weight Management

Most people think because they have eaten every day of their lives that it is relatively simple to lose weight.

Most approaches in the past for weight loss focussed on calories consumed versus calories burnt or a very specific calorie-controlled meal plan. Fortunately, with more recent research we are aware that weight loss is far more complex and there is no one sizes fit all for anyone.

An appointment in My Healthy Body Clinic will explore an approach that individualises a realistic and holistic approach to weight management whilst considering overall health.

Your medical history plays a large part in deciding the healthiest way for you to manage your weight.

It might surprise many people to understand that sleep habits, pain and stress levels can affect one’s ability to manage their weight.

Weight Management

Depending on your food preferences, home schedule, family situation or work commitments a nutritional plan can be formulated to assist with your weight management goals.

Medication Tools

At My Healthy Body Clinic, we have extensive experience assisting clients on medication to assist with weight management.

Stress

You may not realise that stress can make weight management difficult for many reasons.  Utilising stress relief techniques and time out is a very important part of weight management.

Sleep

You may not realise that a lack of good quality sleep, or conditions such as sleep apnoea, make maintaining an ideal weight more difficult.
